KIRUNIVERSE IS AN EXPERIENCE AGE DESIGN OF SELF EXPLORATION.

NEW YORK, NEW YORK

nat·u·ral·ness (n)

/ˈnaCH(ə)rəlnəs/

The quality or state of being natural.
There is a difference between looking our best and feeling our best. The key distinction in the two is that looking our best is external while feeling our best is internal.

However, they both work together, seamlessly. What does ‘feeling our best’ look like?

We follow two unique human beings as they express their individuality out loud!

KVS: When do you feel your best?

PM: I feel my best when I am helping people, which is my purpose. My passion is to make an impact on someone’s life through my writing abilities. I don’t know the way I’m going to do it yet, however, I can use my voice and work with things, to me, that is important.

KVS: How do you feel your best?

PM: It starts with loving myself; taking care of the mind, body, and spirit. Then, I share that love. It’s not about loving yourself and being selfish, rather, sharing the things you want to do with others. In my case, it’s being a writer. I love LOVE because it can be defined as anything; we are powerful!

Also, I believe that one of the best things to do is be grateful. We all know it’s hard here in New York but that doesn’t have to show. When you are grateful, it allows you to share good things!

KVS: What do you do to maintain a positive outlook?

PM: What maintains this positive outlook? Loving yourself is inside of this answer. However, “hope” is more of an expressive way to put it. What keeps me is strong; it is HOPE.

One thing my dad always said is to use your mind instead of your body. Just stop for one moment and make the choice to not give up and be down. A great example of this is that I put in my mind, I’m going to go to college. My parents are not funding me, here. I am paying for everything myself. Every day, I have to decide to keep going in order to reach that goal.

KVS: What are some obstacles you may have faced throughout this journey?

PM: As a young woman in the modeling industry, I encountered people trying to put a price on me. At the time, I was just 19 years old! I came from a family who instilled values in us from an early age. Based off of those lessons, I know I don't have a price. Not in my industry job nor my circle of friends.

KVS: How do you overcome those obstacles?

PM: Remembering that I have a privilege that many people do not get to have in this life. Fully walking in my purpose can help me overcome my obstacles.

KVS: When do you feel your best?

TM: I feel my best after a great workout because after all that work and sweat…I feel accomplished, strong, and confident. There is just more “swagger to my dapper” whenever I come from working out!

KVS: How do you feel your best?

TM: One of the things I love to do is to make myself feel good after a long shower and getting dressed. Whether it’s a casual outfit or getting dressed up, I walk out the door with my confidence!

KVS: What do you do to maintain a positive outlook?

TM: To maintain a positive outlook, I have to make sure that I put myself in the right/positive mindset in the morning. It sets the tone of my day, completely!

KVS: What are some obstacles you may have faced throughout this journey?

TM: There are many obstacles I may face throughout this journey. Such as, not getting the results I want in my own time. Another big one is hearing the word, “no.” Or even not landing that job I’ve always wanted.

KVS: How do you overcome these obstacles?

TMThis journey is filled with obstacles, however, to overcome them, I literally have to keep pushing (yes, I know it sounds cliché but it’s the truth)! Also, believing and having faith that whatever it is I am dealing with WILL work out at the end. I will always keep working and pressing on because I don’t believe in failure – That’s just not in my vocabulary. I believe in lessons and just learning from them; knowing that hard work will pay off. I know my Dad (GOD) has my back in full effect!
